A heavy metal maniac, the driving force behind Blitzenhamer and the youngest of a musical family, Doug has been playing the drums for over 34 years.

He has toured with the members of Y&T, he has been produced by Ronnie Montrose and was good friends with Cliff Burton of Metallica.

Doug loves drumming to the fullest, and his favorite drummers are: Jazz Legend Buddy Rich, Kelly Smith of Flotsam & Jetsam, A.J. Pero of Twisted Sister, Neil Peart of Rush, Leonard Haze of Y&T, Peter Criss of KISS, Dave Holland of Judas Priest, and Clive Burr of Iron Maiden.

His favorite bands are: old Metallica -w- Cliff Burton, old Flotsam & Jetsam, Twisted Sister, KISS, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Y&T.
